Kabila Movement Reaffirms Support for Atuma, Hands Osisioma Ngwa Coordination to Ohuaba

The Kabila Movement in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State, has reaffirmed its total support for the candidature of Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma in the 2027 Abia Central Senatorial election.

 

The group made the declaration during its rescheduled general meeting held on Sunday at De Lurrel Plaza, Osisioma Ngwa, despite heavy rainfall.

 

The meeting was attended by the 10 Ward Coordinators, LGA executives, market leaders and secretaries, ward youth and women leaders, ward secretaries and other stakeholders of the movement.

 

Addressing members, the Leader of Kabila Movement in Osisioma Ngwa LGA and Director of Women Affairs, Atuma for Senate, Chief Mrs. Nneoma Nwaigwe, described Atuma as the right man, stressing his love for the Ngwa people of Umunneato.

 

Nwaigwe also assured members that Atuma would visit Umunneato as the 2027 campaign gathers momentum.

 

She dismissed rumours that the Kabila Movement in Osisioma Ngwa had collapsed, urging members to remain united and focused.

 

“Kabila Movement is on ground and fully intact to achieve whatever belongs to the structure”, she said

 

Nwaigwe, who expressed appreciation to Atuma for appointing her as the Director of Women Affairs for the Abia Central Senatorial campaign, subsequently handed over the coordination of the Kabila Movement in Osisioma Ngwa LGA to Hon. Achor Ohuaba, citing her increased responsibilities in the State Campaign Council.

Speaking at the meeting, Hon. Sunny Omenihu, urged members to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), describing Atuma as a man to follow and a man to beckon on.

 

The APC Ward 10 Coordinator, Hon. Ugochukwu Nwogu, commended Nwaigwe for her commitment and efforts in keeping the structure united, while Hon. Don Nzeadighi Ibe praised the large turnout and expressed confidence in Atuma’s loyalty to those working for him.

 

In his acceptance speech, Ohuaba thanked members for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to build on the existing structure and move the movement forward.

 

The meeting also witnessed the swearing-in of Elder Kelechi Joseph as the new Ward 3 Coordinator, replacing Ohuaba, while Mr. Saturday Aso was appointed Coordinator of Umueghilegbu Industrial Market.

 

The meeting, which lasted for over three hours, ended with a closing prayer by Elder Kelechi Joseph.

 

Among those in attendance were Chief Mrs. Nneoma Nwaigwe, Hon. Achor Ohuaba, Hon. Don Nzeadighi Ibe, Chief Sunny Omenihu, Hon. Ugochukwu Nwogu, Elder Uzoma Aron, the 10 Ward Coordinators, market leaders, women and youth leaders, the Publicity Secretary, Comrade Anubiri Chinonso Davis and Organizing Secretary Ugochukwu Iheonu, among others.
