Ntalakwu Women Throw Support Behind Ofuji, As Team Takes Campaign Message To August Meeting
The grassroots momentum behind the 2027 House of Representatives ambition of Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, popularly known as Ofuji, received another boost as Team Ofuji engaged the people of Ntalakwu Community in Bende Local Government Area during their August meeting.
Representing Team Ofuji at the gathering was Comr. Dandy Ifeanyi Ikedieze and his team, who used the occasion to interact directly with members of the community and present the vision, values and political mission of Dr. Anyaso to the people.
The engagement underscores a growing strategic emphasis on grassroots politics—taking the message directly to communities, listening to the people and building political relationships beyond the traditional campaign season.
Ntalakwu is particularly significant in the development conversation in Bende. The agrarian community has long grappled with infrastructural challenges, especially poor road access, despite its considerable agricultural potential. Recent reports have highlighted the community’s need for improved connectivity to unlock its economic opportunities.
Against this backdrop, Team Ofuji’s engagement was not merely a political courtesy call but an opportunity to connect the aspirations of the community with the broader promise of purposeful representation.
The women of Ntalakwu, according to the Team Ofuji delegation, openly acknowledged Dr. Anyaso and expressed their willingness to support his candidacy in the forthcoming election. Their declaration adds another layer to the expanding grassroots mobilisation around the Labour Party candidate.
Dr. Anyaso has consistently framed his 2027 ambition around service, accountable representation, equity and grassroots development. His candidacy has also attracted endorsements from stakeholders and groups across Bende, with reports indicating support from representatives across the constituency’s 13 wards.
For Team Ofuji, however, the message from Ntalakwu goes beyond electoral arithmetic. It represents what the movement considers a growing desire among constituents for representation that is accessible, responsive and directly connected to the realities of ordinary people.
The continued presence of Team Ofuji at community meetings, social gatherings and grassroots engagements demonstrates that the movement is determined to maintain sustained contact with the electorate rather than wait until the final months of the campaign.
From community to community, the message remains consistent: listen to the people, understand their needs and build a representation that works for them.
With the 2027 election approaching, Ntalakwu’s reception provides another indication that the political contest in Bende is increasingly being fought at the grassroots—one community, one conversation and one voter at a time.
Team Ofuji remains committed to protecting the interest of its principal, advancing his message and strengthening the connection between Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso and the people of Bende Federal Constituency.
Ofuji 2027: Service. Capacity. Results.
