The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Abia State Chapter, has unveiled Hon. Darlington Ogadimma Alozie, as its Deputy Governorship Candidate for the February 6, 2027 Abia State Governorship Election.
The unveiling which took place on Thursday 3rd September was led by the Acting State Chairman of the party, Hon. Obinna Okey, in the presence of the party’s Governorship Candidate, Barr. Kalu Kalu Agu, alongside other party leaders and stakeholders.
Hon. Darlington Ogadimma Alozie, an Itungwa Obingwa Local Government Area born businessman and grassroots politician, expressed his readiness to contribute his best to the party and the electoral contest, assuring the party and its supporters of his commitment to the ADC’s vision for a better Abia State.
Speaking on the choice of his running mate, the ADC Governorship Candidate, Barr. Kalu Kalu Agu, described Hon. Alozie as a strategic choice whose experience as a businessman and grassroots politician would strengthen the party’s campaign and appeal, particularly among the youths.
According to Barr. Kalu Agu, the decision to select Alozie was carefully considered and reflects the party’s commitment to youth inclusion, grassroots participation and the pursuit of good governance in Abia State.
The unveiling further signals the ADC’s preparations for the 2027 gubernatorial election and its determination to present a formidable ticket to the people of Abia State.
