Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Mbutu Ukwu Ward 3, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State, have held a strategic campaign organisation meeting ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting, convened to strengthen the ward-level campaign structure for Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma, brought together selected party leaders and supporters tasked with coordinating mobilisation and campaign activities across the ward.
Addressing the participants, Comrade Chibuzo Oba said the meeting was aimed at establishing an effective grassroots structure capable of coordinating campaign activities and mobilising support for Atuma across the ward’s polling units.
Several party members were subsequently assigned responsibilities within the ward campaign organisation. Oba, who had earlier been appointed Director General, Planning and Strategy at the local government level, participated in the process alongside Anucha Boniface Chinedu, in the presence of Aaron Chidiegwu, the Director General, Media and Publicity at the local government level and Ugoeze Obiageri Ihejiamaizu among others.
In his acceptance speech, the newly appointed Director General of the Emeka Atuma Campaign Organisation in Ward 3, Mr Christopher Onyema, thanked the party leaders for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to discharge his responsibilities diligently.
Other appointees expressed their readiness to contribute to the campaign organisation’s activities, pledging to work with other stakeholders towards achieving the organisation’s objectives at the grassroots.
The meeting featured prayers for guidance and protection for Atuma and members of his campaign organisation throughout the electioneering period.
