Anyaso Meets Bende Councillors, Labour Party Ward Chairmen, Ahead of Campaign Flag-Off For LG, Wards
The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, on Thursday hosted councillors representing the 13 wards of Bende Local Government Area alongside Labour Party ward chairmen as the party prepares for its local government campaign flag-off and ward-to-ward rallies.
The meeting formed part of Dr. Anyaso’s ongoing engagements across the wards, aimed at strengthening communication with elected ward representatives and party officials ahead of the 2027 elections.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Anyaso described the councillors and ward chairmen as important stakeholders in the political structure of their respective communities. He assured them of continuous engagement as the party prepares for the forthcoming electoral activities.
He also called on them to remain active in their respective wards, stressing the importance of grassroots organisation and coordination.

“We are sure that we are winning this one. Everyone should be busy in their wards. We want total and absolute victory,” Dr. Anyaso said.
He further assured the party representatives that regular meetings and consultations would continue as the political activities leading to the January elections intensify.
In his remarks, the Deputy Leader of the Bende Legislative Council, Hon. Chidiebere Chukwu Ude, assured Dr. Anyaso that the councillors were intensifying mobilisation efforts across their wards and would sustain their engagements with constituents.

Similarly, Pastor Thomas Ukonu, Chairman of the Ward Chairmen and Labour Party Chairman for Item Ward B, said the ward chairmen were prepared to mobilise party members in their respective communities ahead of the campaign activities.
