Ahead of the 2027 General elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District, Rep. Emeka Atuma, has taken delivery of Sienna vehicles, SUVs, and buses to strengthen his campaign activities across the district.
The vehicles were received at the campaign secretariat in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, where they were subsequently driven around the Umuahia metropolis for test-running.
The development is seen as part of efforts to strengthen the campaign’s operational capacity and ensure effective mobilization and engagement with voters across the six local government areas that make up Abia Central Senatorial District.
The vehicles are expected to facilitate the movement of campaign officials, coordinators and supporters during political engagements, rallies and grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 polls.
Abia Central Senatorial District comprises Umuahia North, Umuahia South, Ikwuano, Isiala Ngwa North, Isiala Ngwa South and Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Areas.
Atuma, who is seeking to represent the district in the Senate, is expected to intensify his consultations and grassroots outreach as political activities gather momentum ahead of the elections.
