Businessman and philanthropist, Chief Chima Desmond Anyaso (CDA), has distanced himself from campaign posters and designs circulating on social media linking him to the 2027 general elections, describing them as premature and unauthorized.

In a statement made available to newsmen, Anyaso acknowledged the growing support and goodwill from Nigerians who desire to see him serve at a higher political level but cautioned against the use of his name and image for political materials without his consent.

According to him, it is too early for anyone to circulate campaign-related designs or posts bearing his likeness, stressing that such actions were done without his knowledge or approval.

“I sincerely appreciate the love, goodwill, and genuine desire of our people to see me serve at a higher level. However, it is important to state that it is too early for anyone to design or circulate campaign materials using my image or name without my knowledge”, he said.

Anyaso assured that when the time is right, he would engage the public in a constructive and transparent manner, noting that all political decisions and engagements would be carried out responsibly and in consultation with the people.

“At the appropriate time, and in the proper manner, we will engage constructively, speak positively to our people, and chart a course together”, he added.

Chief Chima Anyaso, popularly known as Ofuji Ndi Igbo, expressed gratitude for the confidence, encouragement, and prayers he continues to receive, while appealing for understanding and restraint.
