2027: Alaribe Calls for Unity in ADC, Eyes Osisioma/Ugwunagbo/Obingwa Federal Seat
A member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Engr. Bright Dozie Alaribe, has called on members of the ADC to remain united in order to position the party as a formidable force ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Briefing newsmen after the just-concluded ADC stakeholders’ meeting held in Umuahia, Alaribe stressed that no meaningful success can be achieved in a divided house, urging party faithful to close ranks and work collectively for the growth of the party.
Alaribe, who is eyeing the Osisioma/Ugwunagbo/Obingwa Federal Constituency seat, noted that his ambition is driven by a desire to deliver quality representation and attract development to the constituency.
He emphasized the need for internal cohesion, discipline, and grassroots mobilization, adding that the ADC has the capacity to provide credible leadership if members remain focused and united.
According to him, the strength of any political party lies in its unity of purpose, adding that If the members should put aside their differences and work together, ADC would not only be competitive but victorious in 2027.
He further called on party leaders to create an inclusive environment that accommodates both old and new members, while encouraging youths and women to actively participate in the party’s activities.
Alaribe expressed optimism that with sustained commitment and strategic planning, the ADC would emerge as a strong alternative platform capable of meeting the yearnings of Nigerians.
The stakeholders’ meeting, which had party leaders and members from across the state in attendance, focused on strengthening party structures and charting a path forward ahead of future elections.
