2023 Polls: Nwabuisi Rally Support For Abia APC Guber Candidate 

Speaking with Newsmen shortly after hosting the APC governorship candidate in his hometown in Umuana,Ndume Ibeku in Umuahia North Local Government Area, of Abia State, Chief Nwabuisi said, he has told his people to vote massively for High Chief Ikechi Emenike,in the March governorship polls.

According to the NPC Federal Commissioner, Abia State has been suffering underdevelopment for the past 24 years of PDP rule in the state, saying that Abia needs an aggressive developer to change and rescue the state from backwardness.

He said High Chief Ikechi Emenike is synonymous with development, adding that he is the only candidate that can reposition Abia for the better.

Nwabuisi lamented that all the sectors in Abia from health, to education, among others are suffering neglect, stating that workers are being owed salaries, while pensioners nolonger receive their pensions or gratuities.

“For the past 24 years of PDP government, no meaningful development. We are going backward. Our schools have become a shadow of themselves, no government house, no viable industry, we need to change this narrative.

“I decided to host High Chief Ikechi Emenike in my hometown because he is the only one that can develop Abia, pay pensions and salaries, develop education among others.

“I have told my people to vote him massively. My people trust my judgement. I have never misguided or disappointed them. As the first commissioner of Finance and Economic Development, i never disappointed them. I am now a Federal Commissioner in NPC, they know i will not disappoint them. If i show them the direction of where to vote,they will follow”.

He added that High Chief Ikechi Emenike is the answer to Abia’s  underdevelopment, stressing that he is the only candidate that can move Abia forward.

Earlier in his speech, the Abia APC Guber candidate, High Chief Ikechi Emenike, said its not going to be business as usual, that he is coming to change Abia for the better.

According to him, when a state gets to the level Abia is currently, then it demands a drastic effort to change it.

He said a state of emergency should be declared in all the sectors of the state,as well as, in the payment of workers. He added that by 20th of January 2023, he would be unveiling his manifesto to Abians, stating that under him, salaries would be paid, the state’s IGR would be recovered, development would be recorded and employment opportunities would be created for the youths.

While appreciating the Federal Commissioner of National Population Commission, Chief Nwabuisi for drumming support for him, described him as a backbone to his governorship bid.

He said Nwabuisi has shown brotherhood and determination in ensuring Abia’s story is changed, commending his various contributions and support to his campaign by erecting APC bill boards across Umuahia.

High Chief Emenike further stated that the meeting with the people of Ndume was symbolic,as it was the last for 2022, saying it would be a bridge to his victory in the guber polls.

He promised to represent the change Abians desire, adding that he would not compromise for evil.
