A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA), Prince Paul Ikonne, has congratulated the newly elected Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Abia State, Chijioke Chukwu, alongside members of the State Working Committee (SWC) and other party executives who emerged from the recently concluded ward, local government, and state congresses.
In a statement issued by his Media Aide, Chiagoziem Enoch, Ikonne described the emergence of the new leadership as a reflection of renewed unity, strengthened collaboration, and a shared commitment among party members to build a more cohesive and forward-looking APC in Abia State.
He expressed confidence that the new leadership under Chukwu would provide purposeful direction and further deepen the party’s structures across all levels in the state.
Ikonne also commended party leaders and stakeholders across Abia for their sacrifices and consensus-building efforts, which he said contributed to the peaceful and harmonious conduct of the congresses.
According to him, the spirit of unity displayed during the exercise has helped the party speak with one voice, positioning it strongly for future political engagements.
The former NALDA boss further assured the new leadership of his full support and cooperation as they work collectively to strengthen the party and expand its presence across Abia State.
