Former Abia Commissioner Endorses Atuma For Senate, Urges Osisioma Residents to Support Him
A former two time member of the Abia State House of Assembly and former Commissioner of Works, Hon. K.O. Mgbeahuru, has endorsed the senatorial ambition of the All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma, urging the people of Osisioma to support his candidacy ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Mgbeahuru made the declaration on Wednesday, when Atuma and his entourage paid him a courtesy visit at his residence in Osokwa Ward 6, Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area, as part of the senatorial candidate’s ward-to-ward campaign tour.
The former Abia Commissioner popularly known as Ohamadike, warmly received Atuma and his entourage in a gesture of hospitality and appreciation. He also offered prayers and poured libations for Atuma’s victory in the 2027 senatorial election.
Expressing his support, Mgbeahuru described Atuma as a credible candidate whose leadership qualities and capacity to represent the people should take precedence over political affiliations.
He said, “Kabila is my brother and friend. I don’t care the party he is, I have a good relationship with him. This is not a time to look at party, rather it is time to look for a credible man and that man is Hon. Emeka Atuma.
“I don’t care what anybody will say, I don’t care what anybody thinks about me, I have made my choice of candidate and that is final. I urge every Osisioma person to support Hon. Emeka Atuma for the future of our youth.”
Mgbeahuru also commended APC members supporting Atuma’s ambition and prayed for God’s guidance and success for the candidate in the forthcoming election.
In his response, Atuma thanked the former council chairman for the warm reception and endorsement, assuring him that he would not disappoint the people if elected senator representing Abia Central.
