Democracy Day: Don Lulu Commends Tinubu, Urges Citizens to Uphold Democratic Values

Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, popularly known as Don Lulu and Director of the CityBoy Movement, Abia State Chapter, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the 2026 Democracy Day celebration, urging citizens to remain committed to the ideals of democracy and nation-building.

 

In a Democracy Day message made available to journalists on Thursday, Don Lulu described the occasion as a time to celebrate the resilience of Nigeria’s democratic journey, the sacrifices of the nation’s heroes, and the enduring power of the people’s voice in shaping the country’s future.

 

He noted that democracy remains the strongest tool for promoting unity, justice, development, and good governance, stressing that sustained commitment to democratic principles is vital for national progress.

 

The CityBoy Movement Director commended the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for its efforts in implementing the Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at driving economic reforms, national development, and strengthening the nation’s institutions.

 

According to him, while the country continues to face various challenges, democracy provides citizens with the opportunity to engage constructively, contribute meaningfully, and collectively build a better future for all.

 

Don Lulu also called on Nigerians, particularly young people, to actively participate in governance, promote peace, and support initiatives that foster growth and development in their communities.

 

He expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future, urging citizens to work together towards a more prosperous, united, and inclusive nation.

 

“Together, let us continue to work towards a more prosperous, united, and inclusive Nigeria,” he stated while wishing Nigerians a happy Democracy Day celebration.
