Chief Henry Ikoh Calls for Unity, Congratulates Eric Opah, Other Candidates Of APC Primary Election
Former Governorship aspirant and Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Abia State, Chief Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh (Ozurumba), has called on his supporters and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain united and committed to the party despite the outcome of the party’s governorship primary election.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Ikoh expressed profound appreciation to members of the Ozurumba Movement, Harmony Progressive Movement, Ikoh for Governor, Abia Elders for Mr. President, Renewed Hope Ambassadors, ward and local government coordinators, youth and women leaders, stakeholders, party faithful, and the people of Abia State for their unwavering support, prayers, sacrifices, and confidence in his governorship aspiration.
Although he did not emerge as the party’s governorship candidate, Ikoh urged his supporters not to lose hope, stressing that the outcome of the primary should not mark the end of their collective vision for the state.
“This is not the end of our journey. We remain committed to the ideals of good leadership, selfless service, and the progress of Abia State”, he stated.

The former Minister also congratulated all candidates who emerged victorious in the party’s primary elections and reaffirmed his loyalty to the leadership of the APC and the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ikoh pledged his continued support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, assuring that he would continue working with party stakeholders to ensure the success of the administration’s programmes and policies.
He further appealed to APC members across Abia State to put the primary election behind them and close ranks in the interest of the party.
According to him, unity among party members is essential to strengthening the APC, mobilising greater support for President Tinubu, and advancing the development of Abia State and Nigeria.
Expressing gratitude once again to everyone who stood by him throughout his governorship bid, Ikoh said their loyalty had strengthened his determination to continue serving with integrity, humility, and dedication.
He expressed optimism that their sacrifices would ultimately yield positive results and prayed for God’s blessings upon all support groups, the APC, Abia State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
