I spent the very last day of the year in the most meaningful way with the special visit of my dear big friend, Mr Ejikeme Ikwunze, popularly known and respected by all as Mr Football.
We shared quality time together, catching up on life, leadership, and of course football a subject he has lived and breathed for decades. We ate, laughed, reflected, and he graciously gifted me and my children the last copies of three of his books, a priceless gesture I truly cherish.
In appreciation of his friendship, wisdom, and lifelong contributions, I also gifted him a car to assist with his mobility before he left.
Grateful for moments like this moments of friendship, honour, and giving. A beautiful way to close the year.
