*Chief Eric Opah stands for unity, faster infrastructural development and protection of public assets for the benefit of all Abians. He is not vindictive and will never witch-hunt those who do not agree with him politically.
*A statement credited to the 2027 Abia State governorship candidate of the APC, claiming that he plans to demolish a public structure if elected into office, is false and does not reflect the character, vision, or leadership philosophy of Chief Eric Opah.
*The incoming Governor of Abia State Chief Opah has never at any time threatened to demolish public infrastructure merely because of the name attached to such project. His only promise is to put Abia on the path of rapid infrastructural development, improve and expand public facilities for the benefit of all Abians, irrespective of political affiliation.
*Chief Opah believes governance should be driven by development, transparency, unity, and respect for institutions not vendetta, destruction and divisive politics.
*We therefore urge the public to disregard the misleading statement being circulated on social media in his name.
*The Eric Opah project is about creating a better Abia where public assets are protected and utilised for the collective good of the people.
