A political group known as Change-Abia Organisation led by a former governorship candidate in Abia State, Ochiagha Regan Ufomba, has endorsed Governor Alex Otti for a second term in office.
Arising from a crucial meeting of the Leadership, Executive Members, Local Government Area Coordinators of the Organisation, as well as, Leaders of 197 Affiliate Groups, at his Heaven is Real home, Umuogele Ntigha, the group said the endorsement followed Governor Otti’s outstanding record of achievements in his first 35 months in office.
The change Abia Group comprising the Association of village heads in Abia State as well as, the 197 affiliate groups, emphasised that Otti’s performance in office stands him out as the best in the history of the State.
The group maintained that having weighed other individuals nursing the ambition of vying for the position, Governor Alex Otti stands shoulder high above them and urged aspirants not to waste their time and resources.
They emphasised that they would work for Otti’s re-election in 2027 irrespective of party affiliation as he rightly deserves a second term in office to continue his good works in Abia State.
Outlining the need for all to rally around the Governor, Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba pointed at various testimonies from people who are not indigenes of Abia State, but in far away places extolling the sterling performances of Governor Otti across all sectors.
The projects included road construction, transportation, urban renewal, as well as, uplifting the people’s welfare among others.
Ochiagha Reagan further stated that Governor Otti truly deserved reelection.
