We’ll Support Gov Otti to Finish What He Started – ASEPA Deputy GM, Sends Birthday Wishes to Ihejirika
The Deputy General Manager of the Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA), Umuahia Zone, Catechist Ambrose Jonah, has reaffirmed his continuous support for the administration of Gov Alex Otti, declaring that Abians must rally behind the Governor to enable him complete the transformation he has begun in the state.
Speaking with Journalists in Umuahia at the 70th birthday celebration of Lt. Gen Azubuike Ihejirika, Jonah commended Governor Otti for what he described as purposeful and visionary leadership, noting that the Governor has continued to change the narrative of governance in Abia State.
According to him, the Governor has done well, describing him as the “Messiah of Abia State”, urging Abians to support his re-election. While lauding the Governor for breaking the over seventy years decadence of the Omenuko bridge, said the Governor’s legacies are enormous.
“The Omenuko bridge is just part of his legacies, he has been doing more than that for years. He promised to change the narrative of the state, and he has remained faithful to that course. He is prepared for this office and committed to delivering on his mandate”.
Jonah expressed optimism that if the Governor sustains the current pace of development, Abia will witness total transformation. He urged residents of the state to continue supporting the administration to ensure that it finishes what it started.
“If he continues this way, God will use him to change Abia totally. Abians should continue to support him so he can finish what he has started”, he added.
In a related development, the ASEPA Deputy GM extended warm birthday wishes to former Chief of Army Staff, Azubuike Ihejirika, describing him as a blessing to Abia State and Nigeria at large.
The ASEPA Deputy GM praised the retired Lieutenant General for his contributions to national development and his impact in his Local Government Area, noting that during his tenure, he attracted the Linguistics School to Abia State, which he said has helped to boost development and add prestige to the state.
“He has been a wonderful brother to the state. I wish him a happy old age. As we celebrate him, we will continue to celebrate those who have been a blessing to this state”.
He further described Ihejirika as a man of integrity with a commendable record of service, emphasizing that his legacy remains visible in Abia and across the country.
