Reason Chidi Foundation Empowers Students of Abia Origin With Bursary Awards

A Non-Governmental Organization, known as the Reason Chidi Foundation,has been lauded for its continued efforts geared towards expanding transformative educational offerings.

 

Interacting with newsmen at Obo-Ogu Hall, Mbubo Nsulu, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State, during the 3rd Edition of the Bursary Scholarship 2024 Ceremony, where 49 students benefitted, some of the beneficiaries who include: Miss Onyebuchi Favour from Abia State University, Uturu, Mr. Ogbonna Franklin Alozie, from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Mr. Chibuike Anthony Chijindu, Abia State Polytechnic, Mr. Chiemela Joshua Akomas, from Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Imo State, appreciated the benefactor, the Chairman, Reason Group of Companies, Engr Reason Chidi, for pioneering educational ecosystems in the area which has fostered learning and employment.

 

Also in their respective speeches, Elder Dr. Vincent Olugele, JP and Deacon Okechukwu Azubuike, reminded the beneficiaries that the Foundation is laying a solid background for their tomorrow, hence the need for them to be determined and be diligent in their studies, jettisoning acts like procrastination that could distract them from achieving their dreams in life.

 

 

Earlier in his address, Engr. Reason Chidi, reiterated the commitment of the Foundation to supporting education and empowering the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators.

 

 

According to him, the Foundation’s bursary scholarship program goes beyond financial support; “It is an investment in the potentiality and future of young minds. It is our way of contributing to the development of our motherland and the nation at large”.

 

 

 

“Education, as we all know is a powerful tool that shapes not only the future of individuals but also the destiny of our society. It is my firm belief that every talented and hardworking student deserves the opportunity to pursue his/her dreams, regardless of their financial background”, Engr. Chidi said.

 

 

He encouraged the beneficiaries to make the most use of the rare opportunity to strive for excellence, as they ply the route of academic journey and to remember that education is not just about acquiring knowledge but also developing one’s character and contributing positively to society and in turn give back to the community in any way they can.

 

Also appreciating the Foundation for gifting the Motorcycle (Okada) riders Union in Mbubo Nsulu unit with ten (10) liters of fuel each, the Chairman of the Union, Mr. Ikechukwu Nwaokike, lauded him for assisting them, particularly now that a litre of fuel cost N1000 and N1150 respectively.
