Ohanaeze Ndigbo Looses President At 80
The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo,Amb Prof George Obiozor joins his maker at age 80.
In a Press Release signed by the National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide (Youth Wing), Mazi Chika Art Adiele Okwuruigbo, announced the earthly transition of the President General, Amb Prof George Obiozor (UGWUMBA).
“We are saddened that Prof Obiozor, left us at this critical time in Nigeria. His death is a big blow and a monumental loss to Ndigbo, Nigeria and the world at large.
“In him we lost a great and loving father whose profound advise and fatherly encouragement remains our anchor”.
Until his death, Prof Obiozor, served Nigeria and the world meritereously well.
He was a former Nigerian Ambassador to;
The United States of America,the State of Israel, and the Republic of Cyprus. He was also the Director General, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Secretariat: Co-ordinator, 2014 National Conference, South East Delegates, Member: Presidential Advisory Committee- 2014 National Conference, by President Good luck Jonathan. Adviser to President Ibrahim Badamamasi Babangida on International Affairs, Adviser to Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs- General Ike Omar Sanda Nwachukwu, Member; VISION 2020 Political Conference by Gen Sani Abacha,
Member:1994 Political Conference (Lagos),led by Dr Pius Okigbo. Special Assistant Research – Office of the Political Adviser to President Shehu Shagari, Dr Chuba Wilberforce Okadigbo.
