As the year 2025 begins, the Head Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau, Dr Oluebube Chukwu and prominent political figure in Abia State, has extended heartfelt goodwill messages to the people of Abia, encouraging unity, prosperity and progress in the new year.
In a statement issued on New Year’s Eve, Chukwu expressed optimism for the future of the state, emphasizing the need for collective efforts in ensuring peace, security and economic growth.
“I wish every Abian a prosperous New Year filled with happiness, success and good health. As we step into 2025, let us all commit to working together for the betterment of our state. Together, we can overcome challenges and create opportunities for our youth, strengthen our communities and ensure a brighter future for all”,he said.
Chukwu’s message is coming at a time when Abia, like many other states in Nigeria, faces various socio-economic challenges, including unemployment and infrastructural development. However, the political leader remains confident that Abians, known for their resilience and resourcefulness, can achieve great things by building on their strengths and fostering an environment of peace.
In his message, Chukwu also emphasized the importance of good governance and urged citizens to actively participate in the democratic processes that shape the future of the state. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives of Dr Alex Otti, that will improve the lives of ordinary Abians, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare and infrastructural development.
According to Chukwu, through unity and focused leadership, Abia will experience the kind of transformation that will set the state on the path of sustained growth, adding that in the new year, Abians should renew efforts to move the state forward, ensuring that everyone benefits from the progress.
Meanwhile, he commended the State Governor for repositioning the state for strategic development, stressing that the past one year has witnessed tremendous successes in his administration, calling for the collective support of Abians to overcome governmental challenges,so as to achieve significant progress in the new year.
