Isuikwuato/Umunneochi: Onyinye Rufus-Obi Ready To Slug It Out With Onyejeocha, Amobi, Others

The Candidate for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA),Dr Onyinye Kay Rufus Obi, has disclosed her readiness to slug it out with candidates of other political parties come 2023, saying she does not feel threatened being in the race.
Interacting with Newsmen in Umuahia, She said she is coming on board with a new deal for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi, as the Federal constituency has become a shadow of itself interms of development.

According to her, she literally shedded tears when she saw the epileptic state of the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal constituency, saying she is coming to revive,rejig and reposition the area to reflect what it truly stands for, stating that part of this repositioning exercise, spurred her into the race.
For her, other candidates in the race not withstanding,as she has mapped out programs for her constituents.
She said the security situation in the area would be given adequate look,as no area can record meaningful development in the absence of security.
On the area of empowerment,she stated that youth empowerment would be her priority, stressing that she would be changing the fortunes of the youths and making them millionaires.
Dr Onyinye Kay Rufus Obi,also disclosed that the health system, education,as well as the Agricultural sector of the constituency, would be given attention.
She, however, noted that she has plans for women of the area, especially those at the hinterland, as she would be introducing cooperative societies, through which they can access soft loans to help them in Agriculture and other petty business.
The APGA candidate said she would be pursuing women empowerment with keen interest, because the empowerment of a woman,  has multiplier effect.”Once you empower a woman, you have empowered a community”.
She called on the people of the area to give her the needed support to cause a change in the constituency, stating that the present Representative of the constituency, Hon Nkeiru Onyejeocha,has done her part, but opined that more needed to done, therefore, opportunities should be given to others to contribute their quota.
