The Director General of Dr Alex Otti Campaign Organization, Hon Iheanacho Obioma (Chomen), finally gets appointed as a Special Adviser on Political Affairs.
Hon Obioma’s appointment which is perceived to coming quite late after several appointments have been made by the state governor, had earlier elicited concern from political analysts who said the appointment of the Director General of the campaign organization that brought the Governor’s victory to reality, should before now, be sitting on a very high portfolio.
According to grapevine, Chomen was allegedly lobbying to become either the Chief of Staff to the Governor or the Secretary to the State Government. Obviously he lost out on that alleged bid when Pastor Caleb Ajagba and Prof Kenneth Kalu, were respectively appointed on those positions.
As the case may be, Hon Iheanacho Obioma (Chomen) is, however, lucky to be fielded on what is rumored to be the last appointment list of the Governor.
In a release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Kazie Uko, the Director General of the Alex Otti Campaign Organization, Hon Iheanacho Obioma, successfully made number two in the thirty man list.
