Ex-UCCIMA Boss, Chidi Aruoma, Gets New Appointment To Lead Traders Association of Nigeria
Chief Chidi Nkem-Aruoma, a Rotarian and immediate past President of Umuahia Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (UCCIMA), has been appointed as the Abia State Chairman of the Traders Association of Nigeria (TAN).
The appointment, effective April 1, 2025, gives Nkem-Aruoma the mandate to direct and organize the affairs of traders in Abia State, in accordance with the Association’s rules and regulations, as well as extant laws of the government.

According to the appointment letter signed by Chief Uju Udeine, National President of TAN, Nkem-Aruoma is expected to mobilize and form a team of executive members to work with him pending his inauguration.
His appointment is unanimous decision of the National Executive Council of the association in consideration of his towering contributions to the growth of SME and the Organized Private Sector in both wealth and employment creation.
Nkem ARUOMA is also the Vice President (SouthEast/South South Region) Nigerian- Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce , Consultants to many European Universities including The International European University, Malta.
