Chukwu Calls For Support From Ndi Umunneochi, As Gov Otti Flags-off Construction of Mbala-Umuaku-Ngodo Road
The Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Due Process, Dr Oluebube Chukwu,has called on the people of Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State,to give more support to the People’s Governor, Dr Alex Otti, to ensure his administration’s success.
In an interview with Newsmen, Dr Oluebube Chukwu expressed gratitude to Governor Alex Otti for prioritizing the development of Umunneochi,by commencing the construction of the Mbala-Umuaku-Ngodo road,after failed attempts by past Governors.
According to Dr Oluebube Chukwu, who is an illustrious son of Umunneochi, highlighted that the road project, once completed, would significantly enhance transportation, boost economic activities and improve the overall quality of life for indigenes and residents in the area.
The Head Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau,emphasized that the project would not only ease movement but also attract more investment opportunities to the region, urging the people of Umunneochi to remain patient and supportive to the Governor Alex Otti’s led government.
He noted that Governor Otti’s administration is committed to delivering quality infrastructure across Abia State and called on the community to cooperate with the contractors to ensure the timely completion of the road.
However, the Senior Special Assistant encouraged stakeholders, Traditional rulers, and community leaders to mobilize their people to support the government’s vision for a better Umunneochi,while reiterating that the ongoing development projects are a testament to Governor Otti’s dedication to fulfilling his campaign promises and urged the people to continue praying for the administration’s success.
Some indigenes who spoke with our reporter over the phone, praised the leadership of Dr Otti, who they said has facelifted Abia State.
They stated categorically that the second tenure of the Governor is secured,adding that the people of Umunneochi would ensure that come 2027, the Governor would be reelected. They further stressed that the construction of the Mbala-Umuaku-Ngodo road would alleviate the long-standing transportation challenges faced by the people and as well, enhance socio-economic growth in the region.
