On this special occasion of International Women’s Day, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and admiration to the incredible women of Abia State, particularly the women of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), whose dedication, resilience, and leadership continue to inspire positive change in our society.
Today, we celebrate the strength, courage, and unwavering spirit of women who contribute immensely to the political, economic, and social fabric of our dear state. The women of Abia have always stood tall as pillars of progress—leading in business, governance, education, and community development—and have remained at the forefront of the fight for equity, justice, and sustainable development.
The PDP, as a party deeply committed to inclusivity and empowerment, recognizes the pivotal role of women in nation-building. We reaffirm our commitment to promoting gender equality, supporting women’s rights, and ensuring greater participation of women in leadership and governance at all levels.
