In Abia State, the National Orientation Agency Abia State Chapter,have gotten a new State Director in the person of Mr. Victor Orji from Otamkpa in Isuikwuato LGA Abia State .
Speaking during her hand over speech , the out going State Director Mrs Regina Iroha who was appointed the first zonal Director for NOA South East while presenting the new state Director Mr. Victor Orji to Staff and members of the Agency and people present described Mr. Orji as a man with ample experience and integrity who have the ability to do the Job having worked for years in the Agency as a Senior Management Staff . The out going State Director Mrs Iroha who was appointed a Zonal Director National Orientation Agency South East appealed to the in coming state Director Mr. Orji to endeavour to carry all the Staff along in the discharger of his duty .
Speaking during the event , the Head of Association of Federal Establishments in Abia, Mrs Ifeyinwa Glory Abiakam congratulated both the out going Director Mrs Iroha who is now the new Zonal Director South East and the in coming Director Mr Orji for their appointments . She urged the new zonal Director not to forget those she is leaving behind she should remember Abia was her starting point so she should always consider Abia first and the staff in course of discharging her duties . As you go to your new office in Enugu as the new zonal Director , I have no doubt that you will continue to uphold the highest standard of service that qualified you yo be appointed zonal Director you should inspire greater achievements as you go to Enugu . She equally expressed confidence in the in coming Director Mr Orji for his expertise on the job . She urged Mr Orji not to relent on his good
performance as a management staff but to improve and take Abia state NOA to the next level .
Also speaking , the Chairman Christians Pilgrims Welfare Board Apostle Emmanuel Agomuoh and his Muslim counterpart Imam Sheikh Ali Ukiwo congratulated both Directors for their new appointments . They advised the duo to continue their hard work and take the values of the Agency higher stating that Nigerians still need a lot of orientation on some state and national issues .
Some staff of the Agency such as the Director of Administration Mr Kingsley Igwe the Accountant Mrs Nnenna Usim Victor Ugwum and the PRO Mr Goddy, all commended their staff who were elevated to the ranks of zonal Director and State Director , they expressed their confidence in them to deliver the goods expected of them and not to forget to better the welfare of Abia workers of NOA describing them as Gurus in the job of National Orientation .
Responding the new State Director Mr Victor Orji thanked all who came to witness the hand over and congratulated his predecessor Mrs Iroha for her new appointment saying he would continue from where she stopped because her good works spoke for her . He requested her to always carry along Abia State NOA in the exercise of her job as zonal Director and he in turn would carry all along in the discharge if his work , he pleaded for their cooperation to enable him succeed in his new assignment .
The highlight of the event was cutting of Cake in commemoration of the birthday of one of the female staff and the presentation of another staff who newly bagged a Doctorate degree .
