The Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Rep. Sam Onuigbo has charged the incoming Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, to ensure he doesn’t disappoint ndi Abia and strive to do everything within his power to provide better governance than the past Governors of the State.
Onuigbo who made this known in a Press Statement released on Friday, May 26, 2023, said Otti should use his wealth of experience and brilliance to redefine governance in Abia State and reminded him of the widespread jubilation that followed his victory. That jubilation, he stressed, was a sign of hope and trust on Dr Otti by a people who have been serially brutalized by insensitive governors over the years.
Restating his commitment to offer support to Otti’s government whenever the administration so needs his help, Rep. Onuigbo expressed his confidence that the incoming administration would be a breath of fresh air for Abians. This, he said, is because Otti is known for innovative excellence.
He therefore called on Abians to exercise patience with the incoming administration, as the rot in the state would take time and a lot of hardwork to be cleaned up.
