2027: Atuma Pledges Full Support for Opah, Running Mate, Says APC Unity Key to Victory
The All Progressives Congress (APC),candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District, Rt Hon Emeka Atuma, has reaffirmed his support for the Governorship ambition of Chief Eric Opah and his running mate, Dr Godswill Agu Egbe.
Atuma who made the commitment while speaking at an APC stakeholders’ meeting in Nsulu, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State, assured Opah and his running mate of his maximum support ahead of the 2027 Governorship election.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting other APC candidates contesting various elective positions in the upcoming election.
The former lawmaker further assured the people of Abia Central Senatorial District that, if elected to the Senate, he would provide quality, effective and impactful representation focused on advancing the interests and development of the district.
However, Atuma emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, strategic mobilization and collective responsibility in advancing the party’s electoral prospects in Abia State.
He further assured party members of his readiness to work closely with Chief Eric Opah, the APC leadership and other stakeholders to build a strong and coordinated political structure capable of delivering the party’s candidates in the 2027 elections.
Atuma also reiterated his commitment to providing effective and purposeful representation to the people of Abia Central, while contributing his experience, energy and political goodwill towards strengthening the APC across the state.
He called on party leaders, faithful and supporters to remain united, focused and resolute, stressing that a shared commitment to the party’s vision would be essential to achieving its objectives in the 2027 elections, and urged the people of the district to support his senatorial ambition and work with him towards achieving greater development for Abia Central.
