The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, has held engagements with Nigeria’s Ambassador to the United States, Ambassador Lateef Kayode Kolawole Are, and the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, OON, on the sidelines of activities surrounding the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Ambassador Are is Nigeria’s current envoy to the United States, while Dr. Dabiri-Erewa heads NiDCOM, the federal agency responsible for engaging Nigerians in the diaspora and harnessing their human and material resources for national development.
For Dr. Anyaso, the engagements form part of his broader participation in UNGA-related activities and his effort to gain exposure to global ideas, networks and opportunities that can be relevant to Bende Federal Constituency.
