Alex Otti 4+4 Divine Movement Visits Dr. Chima Anyaso, Assures Him Of Support In Bende
The Alex Otti 4+4 Divine Movement has assured the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, of the support and mobilisation of its members across the wards of Bende Local Government Area ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group gave the assurance during a courtesy visit to Dr. Chima Anyaso at his country home on Saturday, where its members pledged to mobilise their supporters across Bende to vote massively for him in the January 16, 2027 election.
Speaking during the visit, the State Convener of the Alex Otti 4+4 Divine Movement, Pastor Engr. Chibueze Daniel Okah, said the group was formed in recognition of the achievements of the Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, and to ensure that the Governor has people who will support his administration and political vision.
“We formed this movement because of what His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, has done in Abia State. He has proved the real meaning of governance. His Excellency has wiped out the tears of Abians and has made our state the envy of other states,” he said.
According to him, the movement was established not only to support Governor Otti but also to work with candidates of the Labour Party across the state.
“We formed this group to support him. Not only him; he needs people that will back him up. We are working with every candidate under the Labour Party. We are working with them. Alex Otti 4+4 is here to identify ourselves with you,” Okah stated.
The State Convener further described Dr. Chima Anyaso as a candidate whose intervention in the lives of people had already earned him goodwill, expressing confidence that he would provide effective representation if elected.
“Bende has been hungry for this, and God has sent you to liberate Bende. We know much about how you have been helping the people, and we know that when you enter there, you will make us proud,” he added.
Responding, the Labour Party candidate, Dr. Chima Anyaso, appreciated the group for the visit and its commitment to supporting the Labour Party candidates.
“As you all know, Bende is a Local Government that is so interesting, and by the grace of God, come January 16, Bende people will make their decisions. I believe that having seen what the Governor has done, our people will make a good choice, and I believe that choice will be me, by the grace of God,” he said.
Dr. Chima Anyaso urged members of the movement to intensify their mobilisation efforts and work towards bringing more people into the fold.
“I want you to continue to work hard so that if there is anyone who is not with us, we will ensure that the person is brought forward,” he said.
He expressed confidence in the Labour Party’s prospects in the 2027 elections, saying, “By the grace of God, the election of our Governor is already a done deal, and we know that those of us will also win.”
“We are happy that you people are with us and for us,” he concluded.
Also speaking, the Labour Party candidate for Bende South State Constituency, Hon. Chinedum Edwin Okorie, urged the movement to intensify its mobilisation across the constituency and ensure that its members vote for Dr. Chima Anyaso.
Hon. Okorie said the victory of Dr. Chima Anyaso at the federal constituency level would also strengthen the prospects of other Labour Party candidates in the constituency.
In a vote of thanks, Hon. Anyim Eke appreciated the Alex Otti 4+4 Divine Movement for visiting the Chima Anyaso Campaign Organisation and identifying with the campaign, describing the visit as a demonstration of solidarity and commitment to the Labour Party’s political family in Bende.
