The women of the Methodist Diocese of Item have committed the political aspiration of the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, into the hands of God, praying for divine guidance, favour and victory as he seeks to represent the constituency at the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.

The prayers were offered during the Diocesan Women Conference held on Friday 11th September 2026, at the Methodist Church, Akanu Item, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.

The women prayed that God would remain with Dr. Chima Anyaso, grant him the desires of his heart and guide his aspiration concerning the development and representation of the people of Bende Federal Constituency.
