The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Abia South District, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has called on Nigerians, particularly Muslims, to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, unity, love and peaceful coexistence as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.

In a Sallah message signed by his Spokesperson, George Egejuru and made available to newsmen today, the member representing Obingwa-West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly congratulated Muslim faithful in Abia South, Abia State and across the country on the occasion of the sacred festival, describing Eid-el-Kabir as a period of sober reflection, compassion and renewed commitment to humanity.

The former Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Area urged Nigerians to use the celebration to pray for peace, security and economic prosperity in the country, while also supporting the ongoing reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

According to him, the values of sacrifice, patience and obedience exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim remain critical to national development and unity at a time Nigeria is facing socio-economic and security challenges.

Erondu Jnr expressed optimism that with sustained prayers, collective support and commitment from citizens, the country would continue to witness progress and stability under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He also encouraged Nigerians to extend love and kindness to the less privileged during the celebration, stressing that the spirit of sharing and compassion should define the season.

The Uhie-born legislator wished Muslim faithful in Abia State and across Nigeria a peaceful and memorable Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
