APC Senatorial Candidate Erondu Jnr, Celebrates Tinubu on Presidential Primary Election Victory

The APC Senatorial Candidate for Abia South Senatorial District, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has celebrated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emphatic victory in the just concluded APC Presidential Primary Election.

 

In a Press Release by his Spokesperson, George Egejuru and made available to newsmen today, the lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, described President Tinubu’s victory as a clear testament to the widespread confidence and trust reposed in his leadership by party faithful across the country.

 

The former Chairman, Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA), commended the President for once again demonstrating his belief in democratic values by participating in a transparent and credible primary process despite occupying the nation’s highest office and serving as leader of the ruling party.

 

According to the lawmaker, the APC has continued to distinguish itself as a party committed to internal democracy.

 

He noted that the peaceful conduct of the primary election and the overwhelming support received by President Tinubu across the federation further confirm the unity, strength and growing popularity of the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

 

The Uhie-born legislator also applauded party members for their maturity and commitment throughout the exercise, adding that the victory recorded by President Tinubu in the state reflects the confidence Nigerians have in his administration and Renewed Hope Agenda.

 

The Chairman, House Committee on Public Service Matters further commended the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, and other party leaders for ensuring a smooth and credible process in the state.

 

President Tinubu had defeated his lone challenger, Stanley Osifo, with 10,999,162 votes, while Osifo, who has accepted defeat, polled 16,503 votes.
