2023: Hon Okafor Raises Support For Prof Greg Ibe
Calls For More Support From Abians
The Chairman of Prof Greg Ibe Advisory Council, Hon Emeka Okafor has called Abians to give their votes to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Governorship candidate for the 2023 gubernatorial election,Prof Greg Ibe, for a better Abia.
Hon Emeka Okafor who stated this in an interview with newsmen shortly after the inauguration of Prof Greg Ibe Campaign Council in Umuahia, said the APGA candidate is the only movement that can bring change to Abia.
According to him, out of all the governorship candidates for the 2023 election in Abia,Prof Greg Ibe, is the only one that has invested massively into the economy of Abia, adding that Abians need him to change the narrative of the state.
Reacting to the recent nullification of the APGA Governorship primary election in Abia by a court sitting in Abuja, Hon Okafor noted that the judgement of the court would not stand, as it is unconstitutional for a court to nullify an election that was conducted free and fair.
He recalled that the primaries was conducted under a tight security and was covered live and wondered the part of the election that contradicted the law, stressing that justice must prevail.
Hon Okafor, however,told Abians not to relent in their support for Prof Greg Ibe, as the court judgment is simply the handiwork of detractors.
“Chikwe Udensi is being used to obstruct the moving train.Anyone that means well for Abia, should encourage the candidacy of Prof Ibe to become Abia’s next Governor.
“Ad an advocate of good governance,Prof Greg Ibe is the only one that can champion the cause of good governance in Abia”,he stated.
