Re: Call for Suspension of Hon. Onyejeocha, A Joke Taken Too Far
The attention of Adaejiagamba Movement has been drawn to a recent call for the suspension of Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha from the All Progressive Congress (APC), a party she has helped sustain with her personal funds. This call, originating from an unknown figure claiming to be an APC chieftain, has now been exposed as nothing more than an orchestrated attempt by Hon. Onyejeocha’s detractors. Among those behind this call is a former disgraced Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, whose motives remain questionable. The individual in question, a so-called APC chieftain, is nothing but a political opportunist, jobber who begs for a living and serves as a willing tool for political thuggery.
To set the record straight, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha has been at the forefront of building the APC in Abia State. She consistently seizes every opportunity to encourage Abians to support the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. A prime example of her commitment occurred during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Abia Airport, where other APC chieftains present were quick to claim credit for the project. However, it was Hon. Onyejeocha (Adaejiagamba), who boldly and publicly stated that it was President Tinubu’s unflinching dedication to all Nigerians, regardless of their voting patterns, that brought the airport to Abia. She further called on the people of Abia to support the president’s reelection to reciprocate his gestures to Abia and to connect the state directly to the centre.
In addition, during last year’s festive Yelutide season, Hon. Onyejeocha met with Ndi Eze Abia, once again urging them to support President Tinubu and announcing the launch of the LEEP project, which is another hallmark initiative under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, and one she proudly champions.
As for the detractors who were not present at the flag-off ceremony for the construction of the Mbala Road in Umunneochi, and who are now attempting to twist the narrative, it is important to clarify what actually happened. The people of umunneochi simply said that because of Adaejiagamba they will fully support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection and will support Governor Alex Chioma Otti’s election on the condition that he will hand over to their daughter Hon. Barr. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, the Honourable Minister of State for Labour and Employment. We are proud of Adaejiagamba and believe that the umunneochi of people are politically savvy to have put such negotiation of handing over to their daughter as a precondition for reelecting the Governor.
The Honourable Minister, meanwhile, remains focused on her duties in managing the Labour Ministry and delivering on President Tinubu’s agenda. She has no time to engage with petty political jobbers seeking to create division. As for the individual who penned the petition for her suspension, we challenge them to publicly disclose the response they received from the National Chairman of the APC, His Excellency Umar Ganduje. The National Chairman rebuked this individual and those behind him, urging them to cease their divisive actions and collaborate with Hon. Onyejeocha to deliver Abia to the APC. He also commended Hon. Onyejeocha for her commendable grassroots efforts.
In conclusion, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha calls on all Abians to prepare for the forthcoming launch of the LEEP project, aimed at creating jobs and skills for our youths, which will be unveiled by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
