Abia Has Become A Project Hub Since Inception Of Gov Alex Otti – Dr Oluebube Chukwu
Abia State is witnessing an unprecedented wave of development and infrastructural transformation since the leadership of Governor Alex Otti.
The 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State have currently become active construction sites since the state transitioned into a “New Abia”, where governance is truly centered on the welfare of the people.
Governor Alex Otti, in less than two years in office, has achieved remarkable infrastructural and developmental milestones that past administrations struggled to accomplish in their eight years tenure.
Addressing Newsmen in Umuahia, the Senior Special Assistant to the Abia Governor on Due Process, stated that the present administration’s focus on road rehabilitation, urban renewal, healthcare improvement, education and economic empowerment, has set Abia on a path of rapid progress.
Dr Chukwu said from the reconstruction of major roads to the revitalization of key sectors, Governor Otti’s leadership has ushered in a new era of transparency, accountability and people-oriented governance, stating that Abians are already feeling the impact of these transformational policies, as the state emerges as a beacon of progress in Nigeria.
He maintained that with the ongoing projects across all Local Government Areas, the Governor’s vision for a modern and prosperous Abia is quickly becoming a reality, making the state an attractive hub for investors and a model for effective governance.
According to Oluebube Chukwu, Abia state has effectively become a massive project site, with numerous initiatives aimed at improving the lives of residents, citing the recent MoU signed by the government to install fiber optic Internet connectivity across the state, a feat he said would attract numerous economic benefits.
“From road rehabilitation to investments in education, healthcare, and economic empowerment, Governor Otti’s administration is setting new standards in governance. Key projects such as the reconstruction of major roads, provision of essential amenities and the promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), have significantly boosted economic activities across the state.
Dr Chukwu who is also the Head,Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau, praised the Governor’s commitment to good governance and as well the welfare of the people, stating that Abia is now on a path to sustainable growth. He encouraged citizens to support the government’s vision for a better and more prosperous state, adding that with the current spate of development, Abia is fast becoming a model for good governance, attracting investors and setting a precedent for other states to follow.
