2027: Abia Will Deliver 100 Percent Votes for Tinubu – Ikoh
The Abia State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Chief Henry Ikoh, has declared that the people of Abia State will overwhelmingly support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in the 2027 general elections.
Ikoh stated that President Tinubu has earned a second term through policies that have repositioned Nigeria from a consumption-driven economy to a production-oriented one.
He made this assertion while addressing a large crowd at the inauguration of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Abia State, held in Umuahia.

According to him, the President has successfully integrated the South East into the core agenda of the All Progressives Congress (APC), noting that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors are working closely with the party to ensure President Tinubu’s re-election, adding that the inauguration of Local Government and zonal coordinators marked the commencement of grassroots mobilization to promote the Renewed Hope Agenda across the state.

Chief Ikoh stressed that the President’s policies have brought significant progress, not only to the South East but to Nigeria as a whole, urging the newly inaugurated coordinators to diligently deliver on their mandate, declaring confidently that the APC would take over Abia Government House.
In her remarks, the Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, commended President Tinubu, describing the Renewed Hope Agenda as a genuine commitment rather than campaign rhetoric. She said the agenda represents a sacred promise to restore hope to Nigerians after years of stagnation.

The Minister noted that she has witnessed firsthand the administration’s commitment to protecting workers’ rights, promoting fair wages, ensuring workplace safety, and expanding employment opportunities, emphasizing that for federal policies to succeed, they must be effectively implemented at the grassroots, urging the coordinators to serve as ambassadors of hope, agents of transformation, and a bridge between government and the people.
Also speaking, a former Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District and APC chieftain, Senator Nkechi Nwaorgu, described the Renewed Hope Ambassadors as the political force that will secure President Tinubu’s re-election. She expressed delight that Abia State has joined other South East states in openly supporting the President.
“We are fully behind him. We see what he is doing and what he can still do. Come 2027, Abia will give President Tinubu massive votes”, she said.

Another APC stalwart, Chief Emeka Atuma, described the inauguration as a clear demonstration that Abia State is ready for the APC. He called on Abians to support all APC candidates, stating that President Tinubu is prepared to effectively manage the nation’s economy.
Former NITDA Director-General, Prince Paul Ikonne, described the Renewed Hope Ambassadors as the President’s foot soldiers, assuring that the APC is ready to sweep away poor governance in Abia State. He predicted an “Asiwaju tsunami” in the state in 2027.

The APC State Chairman, Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu, said the Renewed Hope Agenda is focused on promoting the achievements and milestones recorded by the Tinubu administration since May 2023. He emphasized that the campaign is based on facts, figures, and verifiable records, not falsehoods.

He charged members to defend the party against misinformation, propaganda, and deliberate attempts by the opposition to mislead the public. Ononogbu added that the APC would partner with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to ensure that government policies and reforms are understood, embraced, and defended at the grassroots.

He praised the President for bold reforms such as fuel subsidy removal and the unification of exchange rates, noting that the Renewed Hope Agenda is anchored on economic reform, national unity, social inclusion, job creation, security, infrastructure development, and poverty reduction.
Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated coordinators, former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Christopher Enweremadu, thanked the leadership of the movement and pledged to exceed expectations.

The highlight of the event was the inauguration of local government and zonal coordinators, as well as the commissioning of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ state headquarters in Abia State.
