2026 Easter: Chijioke Chukwu Urges Unity, Hope Among Abians
The Abia State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chijioke Chukwu, has extended Easter greetings to the people of the state and party faithful, calling for unity, hope, and renewed commitment to building a better Abia.
In his 2026 Easter message, Chukwu reflected on the significance of the season, describing it as a symbol of triumph and victory following the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He noted that Easter serves as a reminder that even in the darkest moments, hope can be restored and sacrifices are never in vain.
Addressing Ndi Abia, the APC chairman emphasized the need for peace, patience, and collective belief in the future, acknowledging that while the state may not yet be where it aspires to be, there is a clear path toward progress.
“We are definitely not where we want to be yet, but we must not lose sight of where we are going”,he stated.
Chukwu commended party faithful for their resilience and dedication, describing their commitment as the backbone of the party’s vision for a greater Abia. He urged them to remain steadfast and continue working together in advancing the welfare of the people.
He also called on all Abians, irrespective of political affiliation, to embrace unity and understanding, stressing that collective strength remains key to overcoming challenges.
“As Christ rose, may new strength rise in our hearts, fresh hope in our homes, and a better Abia for all of us”,he added.
The APC chairman further wished all residents of the state a joyful Easter celebration.
