2019 British Open leaderboard: Live coverage, golf scores, highlights on Saturday in Round 3

Written by

The Open Championship was rough on Thursday and a bit more forgiving Friday, so there’s no telling what Royal Portrush has in store on Saturday as Moving Day commences in Northern Ireland. With the cut line now drawn and some of the biggest names in golf heading home — or in Rory McIlroy’s case, possibly watching the final 36 holes from a pub somewhere nearby — anything can happen on the leaderboard in Round 3.Despite promises of a tough Portrush on Saturday, there have been plenty of low numbers already. Shane Lowry, Tommy Fleetwood and Lee Westwood were all 3 under through their front nines and remain atop the leaderboard alongside J.B. Holmes midway through the third round. Rickie Fowler shot a 5-under 66 to rocket up to 5th, a spot he hopes to hold as the day progresses. Brooks Koepka and Justin Rose are among those testing Fowler for his spot on Moving Day. No one has separated himself yet, so there’s not a clear leader despite Lowry having the home crowd behind him throughout.CBS Sports will be with you the entire way Saturday updating this story with the latest scores, analysis and highlights from Round 3 of the 2019 Open Championship.
